Usage and Care

CANDLES

Care instructions

Place candle on a stable, flat, and heat resistant surface away from flammable items.

Trim candle wick to 1/4" before each use to ensure an even and clean burn and to prevent too high of a flame.

Allow enough time for candle wax to melt from the edges to prevent 'tunneling.'

Do not burn the candle for more than four hours at a time.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Always keep well out of reach of children and pets.

Always extinguish fully; use a snuffer to put out the flame.

WICK TRIMMERS

Use a wick trimmer to trim the candle wick to 1/4 inch before each use to ensure the best performance.

  • Trimming the candle wick removes excess charred wick ("mushrooming"), which helps prevent soot and black smoke during burning.
  • A trimmed wick keeps the flame controlled and avoids overheating.
  • Proper wick length helps the candle burn at a slower, more consistent rate.
  • It prevents carbon buildup, resulting in a better aroma.

How to use a wick Trimmer

  1. Make sure the candle is cool and unlit.
  2. Position the trimmer against the wax near the wick.
  3. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch.
  4. Remove the trimmed wick caught by the trimmer.
